Kelly Pearson

I’ve been practicing yoga for more than 15 years, and in that time my yoga practice has influenced multiple personal transformations; these transformations have shaped my well-being, relationships and my view of the world. In my work as a licensed clinical professional counselor, I’ve witnessed the benefits of mindfulness, breath-work and connecting with the body; these benefits led me to the therapeutic side of yoga.

Currently, I work as a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist and Mentor for the training program. My teaching style is influenced by the yoga therapy I do, in addition to, the many teachers I’ve studied with in Texas, Maine, Vermont and Massachusetts.

When I’m not doing yoga, my husband, son and I are usually doing something outdoors.
We’ve only been in TX since June 2013, so we love to get out and explore.
