Hot Hatha Yoga

Our Hot Hatha yoga  is a rejuvenating and regenerating yoga.
It detoxifies the blood and internal organs,improves the immune system,enhances mental alertness,helps eliminate stress and reverses the degenerative process allowing us to live a longer life.
AMY Hot hatha alternates between vigorous,
gentle yoga postures and appropriate vinyasa to further refine the circulation of the life force.

Two Breathing techniques: Ujjayi(sound),and Nadi Shodana (alternate nostril).
AMY 30 yoga postures are performed in a room heated 102-105 degrees with 50% humidity.
15 standing postures
6 seated postures
3 prone postures
5 supine postures
1 inverted
Each class is 75 minutes long (with time for relaxation).

AMY 30 yoga postures are performed in a heated room:
1-to support all level of students.
1-to warm and stretch ligaments, tendons and muscles.
2- to help the hundred joints, nine openings and six organs all function together.
3-to systematically move fresh oxygenated blood to 100% of the body, restoring all systems to healthy working order.

Before you come to a Hot Yoga class.
Be sure you have eaten a small snack 30 minutes before class such as a powerbar or some fruit.
Drink plenty of water throughout the day so that you’re well hydrated before coming to class.
Good hydration supports the healthy function of all of your body’s systems, and it makes the heat feel comfortable rather than overwhelming.
Dress in cool, comfortable clothes, like you’re going to the beach.
No long sleeves or pants please.

AMY Hot  yoga is an excellent type of yoga for weight loss.
A single session of Hot Hatha yoga can burn up to 500 to 1500 calories.
It will depend upon how much effort you put into each class and how strong your poses are.
