Hot hatha yoga classes at Art Montage yoga have improved my mood, corrected my posture, toned my body, and dramatically reduced my chronic lower back pain. The overall health benefits have me absolutely hooked on hot yoga!

Practicing Hot Yoga has helped me gain flexibility, strength and confidence. The benefits of the heated room include detoxing by ‘sweating up a storm’, learning how to breath correctly and moving easily as we practice. I injured my neck and shoulder last summer and found that yoga has helped me gain strength in those muscles. I appreciate that the instructors pay close attention to safety and encourage us to listen to our bodies. Every student is encouraged to do their best during each practice and learn the proper techniques for each pose. I encourage my friends and family to learn about the benefits yoga and incorporate it into their life.

I think hot yoga is easier than traditional yoga. Adding hot yoga has helped me intensify my practice. I find that the warm room loosens my muscles quickly so I can go deeper into exercise with less warm-up time. This way I can do yoga longer before becoming fatigued. I’ve also noticed that the mental and physical releases feel deeper as my practice progresses. I prefer to practice every day because I so enjoy feeling relaxed and detoxified when the practice ends.
